Ovarian Cancer Information
One of my greatest pleasures as the Corinne Boyer Chair in Ovarian Cancer Research is the opportunity to meet the ovarian cancer community, particularly those who are living with ovarian cancer and the families of those special women. Of particular note are those individuals in Ottawa who show an amazing dedication to ovarian cancer through events they organize to raise both awareness and funds. My involvement in those activities often leads to requests for more information about ovarian cancer.
The following websites provide detailed, accurate information about ovarian cancer. Most of these sites have additional educational materials in the form of hard (paper) copies of brochures or videos. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you wish to have more information.

For those more scientifically inclined, the Mouse Models of Human Cancers Consortium hosts an ovarian cancer site where you will find a lengthy review that includes a brief introduction to ovarian cancer, and descriptions of normal ovarian development and biology, human ovarian cancer, and animal models of the disease.
