Dr. J. Inacio, General Campus
Born and raised in Lisbon, graduated from Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal (1993-1999). Radiology residency in Hospital de Santa Maria/ University of Lisbon (2003-2008). Sub specialized in Chest Radiology working with Dr. Paula Campos. Assistant professor of Radiology at University of Lisbon (2008-2009). Mini-fellowship with Dr. Paul Finn, Diagnostic Cardiovascular Section, Radiology Department, University of California at Los Angeles (2008). Emergency/Trauma Radiology Clinical Fellowship with Dr. Savvas Nicolaou and Cardiothoracic Clinical Fellowship with Dr. Nestor Muller and Dr. John Mayo, University of British Columbia, Vancouver General Hospital (2009-2011). ACR Cardiac CT Certificate of Advanced Proficiency (CoAP) (2011) and Diplomate of Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT) (2011). Radiologist at The Ottawa Hospital, Department of Medical Imaging, Chest, Cardiac and Emergency sections. Assistant Professor of Radiology at The University of Ottawa (2011-). Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, then Regina, Saskatchewan. Attended Mcgill University for undergraduate studies, then University of Saskatoon Medical School, and Radiology Residency at the University of Saskatoon. Practiced at the University of Saskatoon and UBC before moving to Regina and then to Ottawa in 1983.
Areas of expertise: angiography, chest and cardiac radiology.
Dr. J. Seely, Civic Campus
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Undergrad at McGill University, McGill Medical School 1985-89, St Paul's Rotating Internship, Vancouver, BC 1989-90, Radiology Residency, University of British Columbia, 1991-95, followed by Fellowship in Pediatric and Chest Radiology, BC Children's Hospital and Vancouver Hospital, with Dr. Nestor Muller, 1995-6. Senior Mini-Fellowship, Pediatric Chest Radiology, Seattle Children's Hospital and Medical Center, 09-12/1996. Worked as Staff Radiologist at Group Health Cooperative and University of Washington 1997-2001, then at The Ottawa Hospital, from 2001 on.
Dr. Seely is Chief of the Thoracic Imaging division.
Areas of interests in include pleural disease, interstitial lung disease and chest intervention, and breast imaging, with focus on breast MRI.
