Biography: Interventional Radiology
Dr. R. Aina, Civic Campus
Born and raised in Drummondville, Quebec. Graduated from Sherbrooke University Medical School in 1996 and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Montreal in 2001. She continued her training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where she completed a one-year fellowship in Vascular and Non-vascular Interventional Radiology.
Areas of interest include Thoracic imaging and associated interventional procedures.

Born and raised in Rajasthan, India. Undergraduate from Swai Man Singh medical college, Jaipur (1996-2002). Post graduation in Radiodiagnosis from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and research, Chandigarh, India (2003- 2006). Subspecialisation in cardiovascular and intervention radiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India (2007-2009). Clinical fellowship in Thoracic imaging, University of Ottawa (2009-2010). Clinical fellowship in Angio-interventional radiology, University of Ottawa (2010-2011). Assistant professor in department of Radiology, University of Ottawa ( 2011–present). Areas of expertise – Thoracic radiology and Angio-interventional radiology.

Pasteur Rasuli MD, is Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Ottawa and is the Director of Radiological Research.
After earning his medical degree at Tehran University Medical school, Dr. Rasuli completed a residency in diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in angiography and interventional radiology at the University of Ottawa. He has certification from the Royal College of the Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is also board certified by American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. A member of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) and Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), he has served on the CAR Committee for Developing Standards of Angiography and Interventional Radiology and on the Program-Developing Committee for the RSNA.
Dr. Rasuli's major interests in interventional radiology center on the uterine fibroid embolization, hepatic chemoembolization and embolization techniques to ablate tumors or control bleedings.
In Diagnostic Radiology, his major interests center on mammography and developing web-based programs to assist radiologists with computer-assisted diagnosis (CAD). His web-based programs can be viewed at www.radiologicaldx.com. Dr. Rasuli serves as a staff radiologist for the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP).
Dr. Rasuli has authored several dozen reports in peer-reviewed journals, and has lectured frequently in Canada and internationally on the subjects related to diagnostic and interventional radiology.
