Residency Training Program in Child Psychiatry
Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training page. At the University of Ottawa, we are pleased to offer a subspecialty training program that has been accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program has the capacity to accommodate up to two residents per year. Applicants will be applying to this program for their PGY5 and PGY6 training years and we welcome applications from other universities.
Complete details on training requirements can be found on the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Website under “Information by Subspecialty”. The Specialty Training Requirements (STR) document provides a good overview of training opportunities and requirements for a career in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
