Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") is
an agreement between you and the University of Ottawa ("University"),
the owner and operator of the Faculty of Medicine MedOnline website
(the "Website"). This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions
under which you may use the Website. By obtaining access to the
Website, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the
terms
and conditions of this Agreement and the applicable University
policies and procedures, (http://www.uottawa.ca/sec-univ/eng/pol.html), including
its Computing Services' User Code of Conduct (http://www.uottawa.ca/help/about/code.html)
as well as its academic regulations.
Copyright
All materials displayed or otherwise accessible through the
Website (collectively, "Content") are protected by copyright law,
the University's policies and procedures as well as by various agreements
and collective agreements. The Content is owned by the University
or by the faculty member or person recognized as the creator and
provider of the Content. Except as granted in the limited license
set out below, any use of the Content, including modification, transmission,
presentation, distribution, republication, or other use or exploitation
of the Website or of its Content, whether in whole or in part, is
prohibited without the express prior written consent of the University.
License
to the University's Faculty of Medicine students, residents, professors
and staff
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, students,
residents, professors and support staff are hereby granted a limited,
non-transferable and non-exclusive license to access, view and use
the Website for personal study, noncommercial use, and are granted
the right to download, store and print single copies of items comprising
the Content for personal study, non-commercial use, provided all
copyright and other notices contained in such Content are maintained.
Limitation
of Liability
In no event shall the University, its directors, employees,
agents, or licensors be liable for damages of any kind or for any
loss or damages arising from your use of, reliance upon, or inability
to use the Website or the Content, regardless of the cause.
No
medical advice
Information on the Website is for educational purposes only. It
is not, and should not be taken as medical advice or treatment.
You should not rely on, or take or fail to take any action, based
upon this information. Never disregard professional medical advice
or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this

Governing
Law and Jurisdiction
The Website is operated by the University from its premises
within the Province of Ontario, Canada. By accessing or using the
Website, you agree that all matters relating to your access to,
or use of, the Website and its Content shall be governed by the
laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada, without
regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree and hereby submit
to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province
of Ontario or Canada with respect to all matters relating to your
access to and use of the Website.
Termination
The University of Ottawa may, in its sole discretion, cancel
or terminate your right to use the Website, or any part of the Website,
at any time without notice. In the event of termination, you are

Agreement shall survive.
Permission

exploitation of the Content to other universities, or to any other
individual or third party is strictly prohibited. Scanning material
(whether printed text, pictures, graphics or images) and downloading
material, including audio or video clips from the Website are examples
of a copy and express written permission from the University must
be obtained. Anyone wishing to reproduce, store, download, translate,
communicate to the public audio or video presentation of any document,
software, graphic, photo, art work, data or other Content of the
