The University of Ottawa's Information Technology provides all University of Ottawa staff with e-mail access (@uottawa.ca) on the Microsoft Exchange e-mail server. As of fall 2012, the available space for each e-mail account on the Exchange server is 8GB.
New Accounts, Password Changes, Quota Increases and Distribution Lists
All requests for new exchange e-mail accounts, password changes or quota increases must be done through the Computing Assistance Request form on the Information Technology website. Please do not request support through this method if you require help configuring your e-mail on your workstation or mobile device.
Information Technology can also assist in the configuration of a distribution list for those who have a need to communicate with a group of people regularly.
E-mail Configuration and Delegating Control
We can assist all staff members that have an Exchange account in configuring their e-mail on their workstations or mobile devices. We can also assist in common troubleshooting issues or if you want to delegate control of your Exchange calendar to an individual.
