Journal Club
Journal Club is a monthly session open to all Internal Medicine residents and staff. The residents meet to discuss two journal articles, each presented by a resident. After each presentation there is a group discussion which focuses on critical appraisal of the article and the results of the study as they pertain to clinical practice. Typically, one general internist assists with critical appraisal and one sub-specialist in the field comments on the clinical impact of the study. The discussion is followed by dinner.
