Academic Half Day
The Department of medicine has a weekly academic half-day for all Internal Medicine residents on Wednesday afternoons following Medical Grand Rounds from September-June each academic year. The academic half-day consists of several types of sessions including basic science reviews, critical appraisal, clinical skills educations, clinical problem solving, bio-medical ethics, medico-legal aspects of care, and a curriculum to support the life along learning skills of residents. It is protected teaching time and mandatory for all Internal Medicine residents to attend.
