Peer Review currently seeks to build a crew of potently motivated graduate students who will host outstandingly interesting interviews with leading scientists, experts and generally well-informed visionaries. Our weekly radio show/podcast on CHUO 89.1 FM begins on August 30th and will break down indigestible scientific topics into bite-sized, themed episodes drizzled with book reviews, science news and interviews.

Congratulations to our 2010 Vanier Scholarships recipients!

The prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) Program is designed to attract and retain world-class doctoral students by offering them a financial award of $50,000 a year for up to three years. To qualify, students must combine leadership abilities with excellent academic achievement.

Each year, students pursuing graduate-level studies at uOttawa’s Faculty of Medicine stand out among the pool of scholarship candidates.

In 2009, the University of Ottawa recommended 14 students for Vanier/NSERC and Vanier/CIHR awards. Seven of the candidates received the award, including three from one of the graduate studies programs at the Faculty of Medicine.
