Our Academic Office
Our dynamic team of administrative coordinators strive to provide excellent support, and friendly and knowledgeable advice for our multiple EM programs. Staff are divided into the Education and Research divisions. Clinical and financial administrative support is also provided to the site chiefs within our clinical portfolio.
Cheryl Geymonat: Executive Director
Reports directly to Dr. Guy Hebert as Head and Chair, as well as to the Executive Committees of the Department of Emergency Medicine and The Ottawa Hospital Emergency Physicians Associates. Overall, responsible for the business/financial administration and human resources management of academics and the practice plan through operations with The Ottawa Hospital, the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine, and TOHAMO.
Josiane Beausoleil: Program Coordinator
Responsible for PoCUS, CEMO, NCCEM, Faculty Development, Quality, and “Digital Scholarship and Knowledge Dissemination” (formerly IT) programs. She will also be taking on many facets of Academics and EPA finance management.

Lise Lévesque: Program Coordinator – RCPSC
Primary administrative contact for the RCPSC EM Program & Competency by Design. Provides support of both clinically and educationally-related resident activities and requirements.

Fatima Tohme: Program Coordinator – CCFP
Primary administrative contact for the CCFP-EM Program. She will also be responsible of the coordination of Academic Days, Simulation and EMS program management, Research liaison, and Fellowship support.

Program Coordinator - Undergraduate
Schedules and administratively supports all facets of the Emergency Medicine Undergraduate program, to include: clerkship rotation, electives, preceptorships, flight paramedics etc.
