Occupational Health and Safety Committee members
All employees are entitled to a safe and healthy workplace. To ensure that employees have a forum to address health and safety issues, joint Health and Safety Committees, comprised of management representatives, worker representatives, and student representatives have been established.
The University of Ottawa has a University Occupational Health and Safety Committee composed of members from the 5 Sectoral Occupational Health and Safety Committees. The Smyth Road Sectoral Committee represents all employees whose principal work location is Roger Guindon Hall.
