Specimen consists of a papillary neoplasm with a vascular stroma that is seen invading into the surrounding tissues and bone. The fibrovascular cores of the papillary neoplasm are lined by a single layer of cuboidal or columnar cells with clear or occasionally eosinophilic cytoplasm. The cell borders are well-defined. There is moderate nuclear pleomorphism and nucleoli are prominent. Mitosis and necrosis are not observed. The tumor was positive for S100, CK7, NSE. There was no reactivity with CK20, TTF1, GFAP, synaptophysin, RCC and thyroglobulin.
