Malignant cells are present in groups and some acinar formations. The cells have high N/C ratios, coarse chromatin, prominent nucleoli and a moderate amount of moderately vacuolated cytoplasm.

Tumour cells positive for CK7 and WT1. They are negative for TTF1, CK20, and mammaglobin.

Immunoprofile is in keeping with a metastatic ovarian adenocarcinoma.
