Case Two

Overview

Clinical history: This 78- year old male presented to the Emergency Room with a history of falls, bitemporal hemianopia, vertigo, ataxia and confusion. Computed tomography of the head showed a 2.6 x 1.6 cm sellar and suprasellar mass lesion with extension into the left cavernous sinus, partial erosion of the floor of the sella turcia and compression of the optic chiasma. Endoscopic transsphenoidal resection of the mass was performed.
