Graduate Students
- Meagan Bone, M.A. Meagan is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her dissertation focused on the growth in group cohesion and interpersonal learning in group psychotherapy for binge eating disorder.
- Leah Keating, B.A. Leah is a masters student in psychology at Carleton University. For her thesis, Leah will examine whether attachment to the group predicts change in binge eating frequency in women receiving Group Psychodynamic Interpersonal Psychotherapy for binge eating disorder. She will examine whether this relationship is moderated by level of attachment anxiety.
- Vanessa Illing, Ph.D., C. Psych. Vanessa was a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa. Vanessa did a pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. Her dissertation examined how attachment insecurity predicts eating disorder symptoms and treatment outcomes among patients with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.
- Renee Grenon, M.A. Renee was a masters student in psychology at Carleton University. For her thesis she examined predictors of health care utilization and cost among obese women with binge eating disorder, and change in health care utilization following treatment.
- Hilary Maxwell, M.A. Hilary was a masters student in psychology at Carleton University. For her thesis, Hilary coded group therapy interactions among women with binge eating disorder by using the Structural Analysis of Social Behaviour (SASB). She examined the utility of the SASB in the intensive coding of group therapy interactions. Hilary is now a doctoral student in the clinical program at the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her doctoral thesis will focus on adult attachment, reflective functioning, and cohesion of mental states in women with binge eating disorder.
- Robert Hill, B.A. is a masters student in psychology at Carleton University.
