BMI Seminar Day winners 2011
We are happy to announce the winners of the prizes for the BMI Seminar Day event that took place Wednesday, February 23rd
Biochemistry
- PhstD: 1st prize Julia Rintoul ($100), Tied for 2nd - Joshua Raizman ($75) and Anastassia Voronova ($75)
- MSc: 1st prize Rashmi Seth ($100), 2nd prize Adrianna Douvris ($75), 3rd prize Dominic Roy ($50)
Microbiology
- PhD: 1st prize Kassandra Belanger ($100), 2nd prize Tracey Doyle ($75) and 3rd prize Peter Fairman ($50)
- MSc: 1st prize Clarissa Sugeng ($100), 2nd prize Dana Danielson ($75) and 3rd prize Jawaher Alsughayyir ($50)
In addition to the many high quality presentations made by graduate students, we were very pleased to witness a high attendance by both students and Professors as well as the active role some graduate students played as moderators. The hard work and dedication of Victoria Stewart and Fay Draper is well appreciated by all.
The BMI Seminar Day was a success and our congratulations to the winners!
