Guidelines
The Undergraduate Medical Education office is sponsoring 10 projects this summer. The goal of the project should be focused on improving the UGME Program. Preference will be given to projects that will directly impact or improve the curriculum.
A selection committee will review the project proposals and select the ten projects that will have the most impact on improving the curriculum. The supervisors whose projects are selected will be notified and the descriptions will be posted on our website. Students will then be invited to apply to the Summer Studentship Program for the project of their choice.
Note:
- A $5,000 stipend will be awarded to the projects that will directly impact, or improve on curriculum.
- All students and supervisors will be contacted advising them of the results by mid April 2012.
- It is mandatory for students to present a poster of their project at a forum to be held in the early fall of 2012.
- No funding from the UGME office will be provided for supplies and posted board.
- The studentship must be exactly 10 weeks in duration, to be completed between
June 11 and August 24, 2012.
