About the Office

The Faculty of Medicine offers 61 postgraduate training programs leading to certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). We offer a unique bilingual (French/ English) teaching environment with a multi-cultural student population. We have one of the largest foreign trainee population in Canada. There are currently approximately 830 residents and 170 fellows registered at the University of Ottawa.
