Observership Program

The Anatomical Pathology program at the University of Ottawa offers a one day observership program to have an exposure to Anatomic Pathology. This activity will take place from 9:00AM to 5:00PM on a Monday during the academic year (July –April).  Please click on the link below for more information.

Activities include but not limited to:

  • A lab tour
  • Sitting in unknown slide rounds presented by staff and/or residents
  • Staff lecture
  • gross round
  • Autopsy round
  • Interview with Program Director

Once approved, applicant will receive confirmation via email. The applicant will report to The Chief Resident Anatomic Pathology/designate at 8:45 am at the Resident room located on the 4th Floor of the Critical Care Wing at the General Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.
