Charles A. Roberts Award for Clinical Leadership
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine is proud to announce and congratulate Dr. Hany Bissada (Director of the TOH Regional Eating Disorders Program), Recipient of the 2009 C.A. Roberts Award of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. Thank you for your tremendous dedication to the University of Ottawa.
Psychiatrist Dr. Hany Bissada has been awarded the 2009 C.A. Roberts Award for Clinical Leadership by the Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA). The award was presented for his clinical leadership, as well as for his instrumental role in the establishment and expansion of the Regional Centre for the Treatment of Eating Disorders at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus. Currently the centre has grown to include an intensive day hospital program, a six-bed inpatient unit and an outpatient eating disorders program
The C.A. Roberts Award is given to a CPA member-clinician who has helped to develop new treatment approaches, creative program design, or who has been recognized for consistently providing superior quality psychiatric care to patients.
